Dream It: That’s where a great deal of this came from, literally through my dreams. Years ago, in the mist of waking up one morning I heard a voice ask, “If you’ve been given the wings to fly, then why won’t you fly?” I had been sitting around feeling defeated and wasting my talents. One day I got up and decided to just do something, anything. That something ended up being making a candle. People often ask how I came up with the idea and I tell them, Empressive Candles wasn’t planned, at least not by me. It was given to me through God and a lot of failure. But through my failures, I succeeded. I’m ready to fly!
Making people happy or helping them through hard times has always been a joy of mine and I’m grateful that I’ve been able to create a product that has that affect.

My First Floating Gel Candle
BA HA HA HA…WHEW, It’s OK, you can laugh. This was my first floating gel candle and we laugh every time we look at it. These candles have come a long way since I started creating them. It’s funny because as un-attractive as this candle was, my daughter and I both saw the potential. So thankfully I didn’t give up and now, we create and sell the most beautiful candles in the world.
